SIMTC is the result of compulsion necessitated by the failure of an effective treatment for chronic diseases. Most of the modern medical treatment centres deal with acute diseases, labour cases transplants, accidents, surgical and toxic cases, communicable diseases and prosthesis management. Chronic disorders do not get the desired management, because the factors are not well addressed systematically. The longevity, aged people, incidences of chronic diseases, cost of management, continuous follow-up and long term management etc. are really a saga of human care which is seldom attended to by the present day modern medical centres.

SIMTC has become necessary, born out of experience of management of the inadequacy i.e., regular and systematic treatment of chronic diseases. Integration of AYUSHA (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Homoeopathy, Allopathy) for various aspects of chronic diseases has very effective control and long term curative benefits.
